Fars Science and Technology Park has founded on September 2002 with reference to enactment in the Supreme Council of high education development in order to make appropriate substructures for developing the technology.
The strategic mission of Fars Science and Technology Park is entrepreneurship and technical employment especially for graduates of universities through creating small and medium-sized enterprises and supporting them until the commercialization of their activity outcomes.
Fars Science and Technology Park with respect to facilities and spaces during 22 years experiences with supportive activities of entrepreneurs and innovators,under the heading of Industrial and scientific research organization of Iran - Fars research center tries to provide an appropriate environment for implementation and professional deployment of technology companies,small and medium-sized research and development departments in industries and research institutions. According to the charter of science and technology parks and development centers,the purpose of this complex is to create an effective interaction between existing companies with each other and with universities in the course of development and flowering the technology activities.
Fars Science and Technology Park tries to communicate operationally and formally with universities,research centers and big industries as one of the basic principles for its own agreement. In this connection,it also tries to create job vacancies for graduates,consultative opportunities for the members of scientific mission in universities,to use laboratory facilities in universities,to provide and present students ‘projects by existing institutions in park for universities and also to provide apprenticeship opportunity for students. Fars Science and Technology Park has been managed as a subset of ministry of science,research and technology and under the supervision of board of trustees and with financial supporting of government.

Definition of Fars Science and Technology Park:
It is an organization which is managed by professional experts and its main goal is to increase the wealth in society in order to develop justice via development of creativity culture and enhancement of competitive ability for existing companies in park and institutions based on science and knowledge.

The purposes of Science and Technology Park:
