FSTP was founded in September 2002. Our primary goal is increasing the number of knowledge-based small and medium size enterprises (SME) in the region. To achieve this goal,FSTP manages the flow of knowledge and technology among universities,R&D institutions,companies and the markets. The park facilitates the creation and growth of innovation-based companies through incubation and spin-off processes. The second goal of FSTP is increasing wealth in the society by promoting the culture of innovation and promoting competitive atmosphere among associated business and knowledge-based institutes and also by seeking foreign finance resources.
FSTP is equipped with suitable space for companies to manage seminars and conference. The science park also provides services in the field of teaching SMEs. FSTP is run under the supervision of the Iranian ministry of Science,Research,and Technology.
